The management has also received Lakshya, Muskaan certificate. A proposal has been sent to the government to provide MRI and Cathlab facilities to the patients next year.

ESIC is becoming a medical hub, search for land intensifies
ESIC Medical College and Hospital has received permission for 50 seats to conduct MBBS studies. After the admission of students, studies have started. Now an academic zone has been created in the old building. All facilities have been provided to the students there while a hostel has also been built in the campus itself. The plan is that as the seats of the college increase in the next years, the hospital will also be expanded to 500 beds. However, the management is still looking for land.
A letter has been sent to the Ministry and the Regional Director for the land. ESIC currently does not have the facility of Nephrologist and Dialysis to provide kidney treatment to the patients. The management says that talks are going on with Noida Authority officials for the land.
There is no cathlab, neurologist and other experts in child PGI.
Child PGI located in Sector 30 does not have specialists like neurologist, genetics experts, nephrologist etc. Despite being a super specialist, the work of Cathlab in the hospital is hanging in the balance even though a budget of Rs 8 crore has been approved. Patients have to wait a long time for CT scan.

For MRI, patients have to travel to Delhi or Gymnasium. The special thing is that a proposal of Rs 30 crore has been approved by the government for the maintenance of PGI building. Not only this, the Deputy CM had inaugurated the nine-bed ward for BNT by cutting the ribbon. Patients have also got the facility of testing for many genetic diseases including autism, muscular dystrophy. This test costs 12 to 13 thousand rupees, with the arrival of the machine, tests have started at a cheaper rate in the hospital itself.

The work of a new medical college building worth Rs 152 crore is going on in the Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida. In the action plan of GISL, hospital block, medical college wing, men's hostel, director residence and site development, additional electrical work will be done on 8992 square meters. The hospital building will have six floors including the ground floor. There will be a 1090 square meter waiting room on the ground floor, 1317 square meter admin office on the first floor, ENT department on the second, emergency ward and anesthesia on the third, TB-Chest department on the fourth floor, pediatrics department on the fifth floor and community medicine department on the last floor.

At the same time, two blocks of hostel will be built on 1680 square meter land. Construction of Medical College Wing-5 is going on in 24,317 square meters. It will have vehicle parking, anatomy department, hall, research lab, biochemistry, pathology, forensic medicine and dermatology, psychiatry department and other important departments, but due to non-availability of funds for the first installment, the construction of the critical care block is stalled.

The echo of the tug of war going on for the seat in the Health Department reached the government and after getting the green signal from the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath, Dr. Narendra Kumar was crowned as the Chief Medical Officer. Then the government had deployed CMOs in many districts.

The district hospital has 135 types of tests, 290 types of medicines, 24-hour emergency, anti-rabies serum, vaccination and other facilities. After Anesthesia in DNB, seats for ENT, General Medicine, Family Medicine, Ophthalmology departments are also expected to be available soon. A letter has been written to the government for MRI. Providing better health care to patients is a priority.
