He said, the real meaning of development is not only material progress, but moving forward in a balanced manner with values, culture and social values. Today Devbhoomi is touching new heights of development while preserving religious and cultural values. It is a source of inspiration for other states also.
Yogi Adityanath was addressing the ceremony after the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Janata Inter College Yamkeshwar, Pauri on Friday. In the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the ceremony, he said that Uttarakhand has entered a new era of development after the silver jubilee of its establishment.
Along with the development of education, health, roads, electricity and infrastructure, the state government is also paying special attention to the preservation of Sanatan culture and religious places. Referring to the National Education Policy-2020, Yogi Adityanath said that India's education system is going through a phase of major change today.
This policy focuses on making students competent in every area of life instead of limiting them to only bookish knowledge. The Indian education system, inspired by the Gurukul tradition, has always been based on values, self-reliance and hard work and today the same tradition is being carried forward in a modern form.
Uttar Pradesh helped in Corona crisis
During the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared an incident from the time of Corona epidemic. He said that during the pandemic, many students from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand were stuck in Kota and other places in Rajasthan. At that time, the Uttar Pradesh government had arranged for buses. The then Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat contacted and requested for help, after which the Uttar Pradesh government also safely transported the students of Uttarakhand to Dehradun and Haldwani.
Yogi remembered his childhood days, said – village is the root of our civilization
He said that the leadership of India is in the hands of such a national sage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is establishing new dimensions of development every day. The water coming from the Himalayas makes the land of entire India fertile.
Connect children with the nature of teaching while living in the village. Villages are the core of our civilization. The deeper the root, the more the tree flourishes. Villages will have to avoid migration. Recalling his childhood days, he said that at that time there was zero percent dependence on governments.
All they wanted was to get kerosene once a month. At that time there was a happy life and harmonious environment in the villages. Now when we see discord, hear about disintegration of families, it is negativity arising from materialism.
Dhami said, Yogi Adityanath's life is inspirational
CM Dhami said, Yogi Adityanath's life is an inspiring example of service, sacrifice and dedication towards the national interest. Today he is a source of inspiration in the country regarding security, good governance and development. The entire state and region is proud of him.
He spent his childhood in this area, received primary education and today has made his mark as a strong leader of the country. Under his able leadership, Uttar Pradesh, a state with a larger population than many countries, has seen development as well as strengthening of law and order.
On this occasion, former Chief Minister and Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat, Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat were also present.
