Jagran correspondent, Patna. IRCTC will serve regional cuisine to make the journey of passengers memorable in Vande Bharat Express trains. Traditional and popular dishes of Bihar have also been included in it.

Among the specialty dishes, Champaran Paneer is being served to passengers in 22349 Patna Junction–Ranchi Vande Bharat Express, while Champaran Chicken has been made available in 22348 Patna Junction–Howrah Vande Bharat Express. The specialty of these dishes is their traditional masala method and desi taste.

Dishes from different parts of the country will be served

Passengers can taste Maharashtra's Kanda Poha, South Indian Dondakaya Karam Podi Fry and Andhra Pradesh's Andhra Kodi Kura in the 20101/02 Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express. Gujarati cuisine like Methi Thepla is being served in 20901 MMCT-GNC Vande Bharat Express and Masala Lauki is being served in 26902 SBIB-VRL Vande Bharat Express.

Passengers can enjoy Odisha's Aloo Phulkopi in 22895 Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express. Masala Upma from Maharashtra is available in 22229 CSMT-MAO Vande Bharat Express, while Murgir Jhol from West Bengal is being served in 22302 NJP-HWH Vande Bharat Express.

Railway officials said that the aim of this initiative is not only to provide food, but also to bring the diverse cultural and culinary heritage of India to the people.
