Jagran correspondent, Saharsa. Nitish Kumar (18), a student studying in Gulab Lodge located in Gangjala Niamat Ward No. 18 of Sadar Police Station area, committed suicide by hanging himself due to a love affair. His body was found hanging in a closed room on Sunday morning.
For the last two years, he used to stay in Laj and prepare for defense along with his 12th standard studies. He was originally a resident of Pratapganj, Madhubani in Supaul district. When the elder brother did not answer his call in the morning, he went to see another student and found him hanging.
The young man was hanging from bamboo with the help of muffler
When the police and the student's relatives arrived on information, they broke open the room and saw that the body was hanging from a bamboo with the help of a muffler. His phone was found in the room in which he had chatted with a girl and made a video call late at night.
After this, due to some dispute, he committed suicide by hanging himself. According to the information, the elder brother of the deceased works in a private job in Chennai. On Sunday morning, when the elder brother was calling repeatedly, the phone was not being picked up. His room partner Nikhil, who is from the same village, had gone to his village.
The love affair was going on for two years
When he called him, he called another student of the lodge and saw that he was hanging. It is said that for about two years he was having an affair with a girl who is a resident of Supaul and studies in Patna.
In this case, the police interrogated the relatives of the deceased and nearby students and sent the body for post-mortem. Sadar police station incharge Subodh Kumar said that prima facie the case appears to be a suicide due to love affair. Further investigation is being done.
