Dead body of a young man hanging on the pole of 11 KV power line in Dhani Jallopur.
Samvad Sutra, Ratia (Fatehabad). In village Dhani Jallopur on Friday night, a young man who climbed the pole of a high voltage 11 KV power line died due to electrocution. On Saturday morning, when the villagers saw the dead body hanging from the line, they informed the Electricity Corporation and the police.
The deceased has been identified as Makhan Singh (28), resident of Hadauli. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the youth had climbed the H-pole at night with a cutter with the intention of stealing wire and got electrocuted.
Electricity Corporation officials including lineman Surendra posted at Jallopur sub station reached the spot, closed the line and brought down the body. Sadar police station has registered a case of attempt to steal electric wire against the deceased on the complaint of Electricity Corporation lineman Surendra.
