Samvad Sutra, Matihani Begusarai (Begusarai). A sensational case of kidnapping of Deepak Kumar, son of Pankaj Paswan, resident of Ramdiri Mahaji of Matihani police station area, has come to light. In this regard, the kidnapped youth Deepak Kumar himself has lodged an FIR in Matihani police station.
In the application given to the police, the victim Deepak Kumar told that he was coming out of Sankalp Library, Mahaji Ramdiri, when Bhavanandpur resident Ankit Kumar and Mohit Kumar and other unknown people forcibly made him sit on a red Apache bike and took him towards Ganga Diara area. There the kidnappers called the mobile phone of his father living in Gujarat and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh.
Kidnapper absconds leaving young man behind
As soon as information about the incident was received, Matihani police station swung into action and started raiding possible locations. As the police raid increased, the kidnappers fled leaving the young man behind. After this, the police safely recovered the kidnapped Deepak Kumar from Ganga Diara area at around 11 pm.
There is also discussion among the local people about the dispute related to money transaction regarding this incident, although the police has refused to reach any conclusion in this regard.
Matihani police station chief Sanjeev Kumar said that whether the kidnapping was done for the purpose of ransom or there was some other reason behind it, it would be revealed only after investigation. At present, an FIR has been registered and the matter is being seriously investigated and investigation is going on at all points.
