Youth dies in collision between bike and e-rickshaw. file photo
Samvad Sutra, Mayabazar (Ayodhya). On Monday evening, there was a head-on collision between a bike rider and an e-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction at Devgiriya turn of Ankaripur Majra on Gosainganj-Amsin road.
The youth riding the bike died in the accident, while half a dozen people sitting on the e-rickshaw are said to be injured. The condition of two of them is critical. The injured have been referred from Community Health Centre, Gosaiganj, to Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College, Darshannagar.
The youth driving the bike has been identified as 20-year-old Manish Rajbhar, resident of Bala Paikauli of Ahirauli police station area of Ambedkar Nagar. Nandlal, Surjeet, Lali Devi, Ram Shankar, Nikhil, Sitapati, Rajmani, who were riding on the e-rickshaw, were injured.
With the help of police and local people, all the injured were taken to Community Health Center Gosainganj, where the condition of Surjit and Nandlal is said to be critical.
All the injured have been referred to Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College, Darshannagar. Inspector in-charge Gosainganj Shardendu Dubey said that the body has been sent to the district headquarters for post-mortem.
