Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Muzaffarpur Drowning News: A young man died due to drowning during idol immersion in a pond located at Aamgola stop of the city. There was chaos in the area after the incident. There was an uproar among the relatives after the dead body of the youth was recovered on Sunday.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Abhay Kumar, resident of Mithanpura Church Road street number three. It is being told that during the immersion of the idol, for some reason he went into deep water, due to which there is a possibility of drowning.
As soon as information about the incident was received, local people reached the spot and a large crowd gathered. Police reached the spot and investigated the case and sent the body to SKMCH for post-mortem. At present the police is busy investigating the entire matter. Clear information about the cause of death will be available after the post mortem report comes.
