Youths Attacked, Beaten With Sticks During Football Match In Palwal; Attacker Abscond After Giving Threat After Sabotage

Jagran correspondent, Palwal. A case of attack on youths who had gone to watch a football match and vandalism on their vehicle has come to light in Hathin area of ​​Palwal. Police have registered a case against eight named accused and others for assault, vandalism and threatening to kill.

Complainant Rahul, resident of Roopdaka, said that he is a government employee in the Animal Husbandry Department. On the afternoon of January 2, he and his companions Tarif, Rahees and Sarafat Fauji had gone to Malai village in their car to watch a football match between Rupdaka and Rahadi teams.

During the match in the school, there was an altercation between the players of both the teams, after which the match was stopped. While returning home, Rahul, Nadeem, Sajid, Titu, Aleem, Nizam, Waris, Junaid and others, residents of Malai village, closed the school gate with sticks, rods and stones.

The accused surrounded him from all sides, pulled him out of the car, beat him badly with sticks and completely vandalized the car by pelting stones at him. Rs 4100 cash was also snatched from Rahul's pocket. Hearing the noise, Asif Parshad, Sujafar and other villagers saved them with difficulty. The accused also threatened to kill.

Police were called to the scene and the injured were taken to the hospital. He was referred to a higher center due to serious injuries.
