Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. SSP Ajay Singh inspected the rehearsal of the parade to be organized at the parade ground on the occasion of 77th Republic Day.
He issued necessary directions to the subordinate officers regarding security arrangements during the program. He said that all the arrangements should be completed on time by establishing coordination with other concerned departments. This year 10 platoons will participate in the Republic Day parade.
SSP said that people coming to the program should be allowed to enter the venue only after checking. Apart from this, instructions were also given not to allow any person to carry any kind of inflammable material to the venue. Also asked to park the vehicles of the guests and people coming to the function only in the previously marked parking spots.
Told that this year 10 platoons are participating in the Republic Day parade. These include one platoon Army, one platoon CRPF, one platoon ITBP, one platoon Himachal Police, one platoon 40th Corps PAC Men, one platoon Women 40th Corps PAC, one platoon Home Guard, one platoon PRD, one platoon NCC Boys and one platoon NCC Girls.
