Three hundred TB patients are currently undergoing treatment in Luxor. The central and state governments are continuously running campaigns to eradicate TB.

Laksar Community Health Center has OPD of 200 to 250 patients every day.

Shortness of breath is seen in every third person coming to the hospital for treatment, which is a matter of concern. To stop the increasing cases of TB, the Health Department will now go door-to-door to identify possible TB patients. For this, the department has started a special investigation campaign. This special campaign will be run for 100 days in rural areas including cities.

On the instructions of the government, the health department is taking many steps to eliminate TB. In the special testing campaign that will last for 100 days, health workers will go door-to-door and check people. The continuously increasing cases of TB in the area is a matter of concern.
