The Chief Minister sent compensation through DBT to the beneficiaries under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance and Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme and laid the foundation stone of agricultural buildings. Its live telecast was done at NIC and other places including Tehsil and Block Headquarters.
The program took place in NIC in the presence of BJP District President Buddhi Lal, CDO Anjulata, ADM Finance and Revenue Amrita Singh. Under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, 10 farmers were given certificates of compensation for the damage caused due to natural disaster in Kharif 2025.
Under the Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme, token checks of Rs 5 lakh each were handed over to 10 farmers. Under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, an amount of Rs 1.41 crore was sent to the accounts of 12158 farmers of the district. Under the Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme, an amount of Rs 2.20 crore was sent to 48 beneficiaries.
Along with this, compensation money was distributed to the beneficiaries of crop damage caused by natural calamities, beneficiaries of Chief Minister farmer accident and certificates of Group Life Insurance Scheme were distributed to Aapda Mitras. Deputy Agriculture Director Vinod Kumar, District Agriculture Officer Akhilesh Pandey, District Horticulture Officer Jairam Verma and others were present.
