Jagran correspondent, Agra. Acting on cyber crime, the police have busted three gangs and arrested 34 cyber thugs. Cyber thugs used to commit fraud by luring people. He also used to provide bank accounts to cyber thugs based in Dubai. The leader of the gang busted by the police is a resident of Agra.
He has been living in Dubai for a long time and is running a fraud network across the country. There are 600 complaints registered against the arrested accused on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP). All three gangs have so far committed fraud worth Rs 300 crore. Police teams are busy searching for other members of the gang. ADCP City Aditya said that the police have arrested 34 people involved in cyber crime with the help of surveillance and SOG and Cyber Cell.

Complaints were registered against them on the NCRP portal. On Sunday, three members were arrested near Hotel Regal Vista. On their information, other members of the gang were arrested. The gang members used to cheat people in the name of investment by sending links on digital arrest, WhatsApp, Telegram.
Nitin is the leader of the gang, who is running a fraud network living in Dubai. He has also acquired Dubai citizenship. Nitin has defrauded Rs 100 crores by creating bogus companies. The arrested resident Pawan Kumar used to arrange fake Aadhaar cards by running a public service center. Mule accounts were opened by getting fake SIMs issued from these Aadhar cards.
