Inspector in-charge Kulpahar Vinod Kumar said that the accused has been produced in the court and sent to jail. In this case, 33 people including Nikhil Chaturvedi, District Manager of Insurance Company IFFCO Tokio and a woman have been sent to jail.
The people committing fraud in crop insurance, in collusion with the company, chose such villages where the consolidation process was going on. Land owners and sharecroppers can get crop insurance on the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Portal.
