Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. Under Corridor-1 of Kanpur Metro, power supply has been started by preparing sub-stations at six out of seven stations from Kanpur Central to Naubasta.
Testing of metro trains and operation of various systems installed at stations like TVS, ECS, AFC and other electrical equipment bulbs, lifts, escalators etc. will now be expedited.
Kanpur Metro has been installed with 33 KV Auxiliary Sub-Station (ASS) at four stations—Jhakarkati, Baradevi, Basant Vihar and Naubasta—and Auxiliary-cum-Traction Sub-Station (ASS-cum-TSS) at two stations—Kidwai Nagar and Buddh Nagar.
