Jagran correspondent, outer Delhi. A small cylinder exploded while cooking in a house in Lalbagh of Adarsh Nagar police station area on Friday morning. Due to which the husband, wife and their three children got burnt. Everyone was immediately taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital in Jahangirpuri.
From where after first aid everyone was referred to Safdarjung Hospital. Where the treatment of all these is going on. All the injured are said to be out of danger. Police have registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation.
According to the information, 30-year-old Amit lives with his family in a room in Lalbagh. Lives the family by doing job. At around 7 am on Friday morning, his wife Vandana was cooking food on a five liter cylinder. Then suddenly the cylinder burst. Due to which Amit, his seven-year-old daughter Vandana, nine-year-old son Ayush and two-year-old son, who were present nearby, got burnt.
Neighbors arrived after hearing the sound of the explosion
Hearing the sound of the explosion, people present nearby ran to the victim's room. Where it was found that everyone got injured due to cylinder explosion. People immediately informed this to the police control room. Police reached the spot and found that all the injured had been taken to the hospital.
The police called the crime team at the scene. The team has collected many evidences after inspecting the spot. Police investigation revealed that all the injured suffered minor burns and injuries.
