Jagran correspondent, Ramnagar. Some changes have been made by the Unique Identification Authority of India for making Aadhaar card. These changes have been made keeping in mind the privacy and data security of the citizens. Now with the changes, people are getting Aadhar cards.

Information related to the changes has also been posted by the Aadhar Card Center operators. Under this, now the father's name will be mentioned in the Aadhar card of persons below 18 years of age as before. Wrong name cannot be modified. Because the name of father or husband is being removed from the Aadhar card of persons aged 18 years and above. That means now only the name and address of the applicant will appear in the Aadhar card. Apart from this, earlier the date, month and year of birth was mentioned in the Aadhar card.

Now the date and month of birth are being removed from the Aadhar cards being made. Only the year of birth is being mentioned. Aadhaar card center operators said that while making Aadhaar card, there is no option to fill the name of father and husband in the portal. The revised system has been implemented earlier. Whereas all the original records will be preserved in the UIDAI database.
