Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. The administration has taken strict action regarding the increasing problem of traffic jam in the city. Strict instructions were given in the meeting of the District Road Safety Committee held at Sangam Auditorium under the chairmanship of DM Manish Kumar Verma.

It was clearly said that if vehicles are found parked outside schools, marriage houses and private hospitals, then strict action will be taken against the concerned managers. In such a situation, prepare all the action plans for parking. Apart from this, the officials of the concerned department were instructed to give immediate notice to those who do not follow the rules, so that the system can be improved.

PDA officials were told that they have taken action to pass the map before construction of building, marriage hall, school, hospital. The parking arrangements in them should be checked and parking arrangements should be ensured.

In order to free the city from jam, a joint team of ARM Roadways and ADCP (Traffic), Police Department, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation and Transport Department, under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate (City) for marking the land for making permanent holding areas in all the entry points including Phaphamau, Jhunsi, Naini for vehicles coming from every route of Lucknow, Pratagpadh, Varanasi, Mirzapur and Rewa. Was formed.

The formed committee will identify the land and prepare a detailed plan and present it in the next meeting. Apart from this, it was said that demand for recovery vehicles, cranes, cutters and other necessary resources would be made for post accident care facility at all the entry points of the city.

Arshad, KS Srivastava, Ajit Kumar, Vivek Gupta, Assistant Divisional Transport Officer Anand Rao, Prashant Dixit, KK Singh, Prabhakar Singh, Nikunj Tiwari, Ram Sagar, Dr. Sudhanshu Shukla, Dr. Amit Singh, Amit Kumar, Krishna Mohan Mishra, Gayatri Mehta, Ravindra Singh, Vinod Chandra Dubey, Raghunath Dwivedi, Ramakant Rawat etc.

Transport Department and Police Department Traffic were directed to include officials of Tempo and Taxi Union in the meetings to be held under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate (City) Prayagraj for the operation of e-rickshaws. Strict steps should be taken to declare no e-rickshaw zone in Civil Lines area. Apart from this, in the last meeting, it was said that effective action should be taken by conducting a joint survey on February 17 with members of Transport, Police and Public Works Department, Tempo and Taxi Union to open the closed cut near Alopibagh flyover.

At all the intersections of the city, Municipal Corporation, PDA, Public Works Department, NH will ensure that parking of any type of vehicles, handcarts, vendors are not located near the main intersections. We will mark those places and take action to paint them and declare them as encroachment free areas.
