Strong objection was raised during Bhagwat Katha in Mumbai

During Bhagwat Katha in Mumbai, narrator Devkinandan Thakur had expressed strong objection to the inclusion of Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafir Rahman by KKR team in IPL. He had said in his sermon that Hindus are being persecuted in Bangladesh. Recently, a Hindu youth was murdered and his body was burnt. Fundamentalists carried out incidents of rape and violence against small girls and Hindu women. In such an environment, KKR owner Shahrukh Khan bought the Bangladeshi cricketer for more than nine crore rupees.

Narrator Devkinandan Thakur expressed happiness over BCCI's decision in the story running in Bengaluru.

While preaching the story on Saturday, Devkinandan Thakur said that this protest was not against any player or person. Bangladeshi cricketers have played in India before also. But, in the current environment, it was necessary to protest against the atrocities on Hindu people by keeping them out of the game. Said that KKR team had the opportunity to stand with the victims by expelling the player before BCCI. Now despite BCCI's decision the film actor did not react expecting the sentiments of Hindus.
