The aim is to connect patients, doctors, labs, hospitals and pharmacies through this app. With this, all the reports (health records) related to the patient's disease are available on the mobile app anytime, anywhere. Due to this, patients do not even have to stand in line for treatment.
The special thing is that Aura gives a unique identity to every citizen in the field of health. Which is used throughout the country on the consent of the patient. To connect maximum people with Abha, Asha is also doing door-to-door registration.
Apart from this, PHR/EHR app can also be downloaded from Play Store. Abha account can also be created from https://abha.abdm.gov.in. There is facility to create account with Aadhaar also.
If the mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, there is a facility to create an account through biometric verification. For this, ABDM registered health center can also be visited. Account can be created by facial verification through Aabha and Arogya Setu app.
According to ABDM nodal in-charge Dr. Mohit Singh, the number of experts providing health services (Healthcare Professionals Registry) has also crossed one lakh. In this, doctors, nurses, paramedical and other health service providers are registered at the national level.
Apart from this, more than 70 thousand public and private health facilities like hospitals, clinics, labs, diagnostic centers, pharmacies etc. related to modern and traditional medical systems providing health facilities have been registered. In this, if needed, patients can get information about health services near them.
Dr. Mohit said that the aim is to connect all the patients reaching the hospital with Abha app. Along with this, work is going on to connect lab and pharmacy services also.
