Setting an example of responsibility and spirit of service towards the society, retired Brigadier Harish Chandra Joshi contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Brigadier Joshi paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Secretariat and handed over the cheque.
He said that this amount has been given to support the education, health and livelihood of families affected by previous natural disasters, especially poor and deprived children.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that as an experienced army officer, this initiative of Brigadier Joshi shows his commitment towards the overall development of the society and the state.
He said that such contributions not only provide support to the disaster affected, but also strengthen the spirit of service and cooperation in the society. During this, Shanu Joshi, daughter of Brigadier HK Joshi, was present.
