Jagran correspondent, Srinagar. A tragic incident has come to light from Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, where an army soldier has died due to cardiac arrest. A soldier of the Army's Chinar Corps died of a heart attack on Sunday, officials said.

Who was Naik Pargat Singh?

He said that Naik Pargat Singh died at 19 Rashtriya Rifles Camp in Larkipora in Anantnag district. Martyred soldier Pargat Singh was a resident of Amritsar, Punjab and had joined the army in 2015. The Srinagar-based Chinar Corps of the Army expressed condolences on the death of the soldier.
