Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. Such a scene was seen at Chhivki station on Saturday afternoon that the people present there stopped breathing. The life of an elderly passenger returning after taking a holy dip in the Magh Mela was in danger when he slipped while trying to board a moving train and fell between the train and the tracks.

But due to the promptness of RPF constable Santosh Kumar Yadav posted there, he ran and pulled him out and saved his life, thus a major accident was averted.

This incident happened around 1:10 pm, when the Mahanagari Express standing on platform number three was heading towards its destination. Mohanlal Srivastava, 59, a resident of Manikpur, tried to catch the speeding train, but as soon as his hand slipped from the handle, he became unbalanced and started falling towards the fatal gap between the platform and the train.

Before they could fall under the wheels of the train, RPF jawan Santosh Yadav, posted nearby, showed the agility of a leopard and without caring for his own life, held them firmly and pulled them out.

This incident of just a few seconds was no less than a miracle. If there had been a delay of even a moment in the jawan's reaction, the consequences could have been extremely tragic. After being saved safely, passenger Mohanlal thanked the constable, while the crowd present at the station also praised the soldier's bravery.

Taking cognizance of the incident, Prof. Amit Kumar Singh of Prayagraj Division has appealed to the passengers not to hurry during the journey, because boarding a moving train can be life-threatening.

Chyawanprash is a part of every Indian's life, it reduces diseases and increases energy.
