Rabies can also be caused by touching nails

Medical Officer in-charge of CHC, Dr. Faizan Khan has said that every day a large number of people are coming to the hospital troubled by dog bites. Rabies can also be caused by being bitten by a dog's nails. Therefore, if the dog bites, then wash that area with clean water and soap for about 15 minutes. After that, go to your nearest CHC or PHC and get anti-rabies vaccine.

Talks will be held with the Nagar Panchayat Executive Officer and BDO. Effective steps will be taken to vaccinate, sterilize and keep stray dogs away from the population.
