Jagran correspondent, Karnal. Anganwadi workers and helpers demonstrated strongly and demanded permanent employment and minimum wage of Rs 26,000. Raised voice for repeal of all four anti-labor labor codes.

It is noteworthy that on the call of IIFA, programs of demonstrations and encampments are being organized at the offices of Union Ministers and BJP MPs across the country. Due to this, on the call of Workers and Helpers Union Haryana (Reg. 1442), a strong demonstration was held at the office of Union Minister Manohar Lal Karnal on Saturday.

The demonstration was presided over by Rupa Rana Karnal, Sunita from Yamunanagar, Sona Devi from Sonipat, Poonam Lohan Kaithal, State President of Crutch Union Sushila, the demonstration was mainly led by Union State Vice President Comrade Surendra, State Secretary Sunil Dutt, Rupa Rana, Bijnesh Rana.

All the leaders said in one voice that the government had announced an increase in the fixed salary of Asha workers as early as March 2025, but it has not been implemented yet. In the name of digitization, the government is engaged in the madness of eliminating the entitlements of these schemes. Budget cuts and non-payment of salaries have become common.

Union leaders Sunita Yamunanagar, Shakuntala Kaithal, Mamta, Amar Jeet Kaur, demanded that the minimum wage for workers and helpers should be implemented at Rs 26000 and workers should be made third class and helpers should be made fourth class employees.

Honorarium should be released to the terminated workers helpers during the strike. On this occasion OP Mata, Satpal Saini, Sushil Gujjar, Raj Pal, Manju, Sudesh, Shakuntala, Seva Ram, Kaliram, Mamta, Sona Devi, Jagpal Rana, Nutan, Poonam Lohan, Krishna Sharma, Dheeraj Rawat, Labh Singh Arya, Ashok Arora were present.
