Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav paying tribute to Jannayak Karpuri Thakur.
Digital Desk, Patna. The birth anniversary celebration of Jannayak Karpoori Thakur was organized at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) office on Saturday. Many senior party leaders and workers including Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav participated in the program.
On this occasion, in his address, Tejashwi Yadav made a scathing attack on the law and order of the state, nepotism, central government, Prime Minister and Home Minister. Mainly he targeted BJP.
Calling upon workers to fight against injustice, Tejashwi said, "We are not weak, our times are weak. Time will change and the poor will rule in Bihar."
He said that Jananayak Karpoori Thakur never bowed down to injustice and Lalu Prasad Yadav also remained firm on his principles despite illness. "Like Karpoori and Lalu, Tejashwi Yadav will also not bow down. He will fight and will win only by fighting."
The entire system was against Bihar elections
Referring to the defeat in the assembly elections, Tejashwi Yadav said that the entire system was against him in the elections, yet RJD got 1 crore 90 lakh votes.
He claimed that about 60 percent of the people voted against the government, which clearly shows that the people of Bihar wanted change.
Tejashwi also attacked the media and said that propaganda is being spread and some people within the party are adopting similar attitude. u
He said that he is not going to sit disappointed and will continue to raise the voice of the people from the House to the streets. Talking about giving 100 days time to the government, he said that during this time he will only demand to fulfill the government's announcements.
He demanded to fulfill the promises of giving Rs 1 lakh 90 thousand to women, one crore jobs and opening factories in every district.
Raising questions on the law and order of the state, Tejashwi said that what is happening with innocent girls in Bihar today is in front of everyone.
In this sequence, he took a dig at the statement of BJP MP Rajeev Pratap Rudy and said that serious issues like crime are being made a joke.
Tejashwi Yadav said that after the elections the discussion is about his defeat and not about the victory of NDA. He alleged that during the elections, the entire central government including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister was camping in Bihar.
Taking the name of BJP National President Nitin Naveen, he also took a dig at the statement of nepotism. He said that today firing is going on daily in the state, but sensitivity is not being shown by the Central Government and BJP leaders.
He said that everyone knows how they have remained in power, but this fight has just begun and they will take it to victory.
In the end, Tejashwi Yadav said that after the upcoming session, he will go to the districts and strengthen the organization and everyone will have to fight unitedly to save Bihar.
