State Bureau, Dehradun. In the Ankita Bhandari case, the government has decided to conduct a CBI investigation in relation to VIP as per the expectations of the victim's parents and the public.
Famous environmentalist Padmabhushan Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi has lodged an FIR in Basant Bihar police station regarding investigation of VIP for complete justice in the case.
This FIR has become the basis for recommending a CBI investigation. On the basis of this, the police headquarters has sent the file related to CBI investigation of the case to the government.
In the Ankita Bhandari episode, some time ago an audio clip related to VIP was circulated in the internet media. Within no time, the Ankita Bhandari incident that took place in the year 2022 engulfed the entire state. Ankita's parents had also met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and demanded a CBI inquiry into this matter.

He had requested the Chief Minister to conduct a confirmed investigation to clarify the situation regarding VIP. The Chief Minister had assured a CBI inquiry into the matter in accordance with the sentiments of Ankita's parents. A decision was also taken on this. The government also started the legal process.
Meanwhile, Padmabhushan Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi lodged an FIR in Basant Bihar police station. Now, taking this FIR as the basis, the police has prepared a file to conduct a CBI investigation in relation to the VIP. Which has been sent to the government. On the basis of this, efforts are underway to recommend CBI.
