Urmila Sanawar's mobile phone, which was submitted in the court in the case of audio clip containing disputed facts related to the Ankita Bhandari murder case, has been sent to the lab for testing. Besides, voice samples of Urmila Sanawar and Suresh Rathore have also been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory, Chandigarh. Once the authenticity of the audio clip becomes clear, the SIT can tighten its grip on the investigation.
There was an uproar after several different audio clips of the alleged conversation between expelled BJP MLA Suresh Rathore and actress Urmila Sanawar were circulated on the internet media. In this video, Urmila Sanawar had mentioned VIP in the case, after which there was a stir in the political and administrative circles of the state. Movements had started across the state.
After the audio was broadcast, taking this matter seriously, separate cases were registered in Bahadrabad and Jhabreda police stations as well as in Dehradun. Considering the sensitivity of the case, the SSP had constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT). SIT started the investigation in a systematic manner and first interrogated actress Urmila Sanawar. The next day, former MLA Suresh Rathore was also interrogated.
Last week, actress Urmila Sanawar appeared in the court, where she submitted her mobile phone for testing. During this time his voice samples were also taken. At the same time, former MLA Suresh Rathore also appeared in the court and gave voice samples. After getting permission from the court, SIT has sent the voice samples of both and Urmila's mobile phone to FSL, Chandigarh for technical testing. What remains to be seen is how long will it take for the SIT to receive their report.
