Dialogue Associate, Jagran, Rampur. This time new rules have been made to make the high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board completely free from cheating. According to the new guidelines issued by the board, now merely showing the admit card will not be enough for the students to enter the examination centre. It has been made mandatory for them to keep the original copy of Aadhar Card with them.
Officials of the regional board office have clarified that this decision has been taken to curb fake candidates. If a student does not have the original copy of Aadhar Card, he may face difficulty in getting admission in the centre. The purpose of this strictness is to maintain the sanctity of the examination. This time, emphasis is being laid not only on physical examination but also on digital monitoring.
All examination centers will be equipped with high-resolution CC cameras. Their direct monitoring will be done from the control room. Geo-tagging of all the centers has been done, so that the location of the centers and the activities happening there can be accurately monitored. Additional police forces and mobile teams will be deployed at sensitive and highly sensitive centres.
Internal mobile teams will keep an eye on every activity
The District School Inspector has issued strict instructions to make the high school and intermediate examinations of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council, starting from February 18, completely cheating-free and transparent. Internal mobile teams are being formed. These teams will keep a close watch on every activity inside the examination centres. An internal inspection squad will be formed at each centre.
Special rules have been fixed regarding the composition of this squad. There will be a total of three members in each squad. It is mandatory to have at least one female teacher in the squad, so that full care and dignity of the girl students can be taken care of. The teacher of the subject for which the examination is being conducted will not be made a part of the mobile team on that day.
Layer checking will be done at the entrance
Carrying any type of study material, mobile phone, calculator or other electronic equipment inside the examination center will be completely prohibited. For this, intensive search of students will be done at the main gate itself. Strict action will be taken if any type of inappropriate material is found inside the center premises.
Our priority is to conduct cheating free exams. The use of technology and the necessity of Aadhaar will eliminate the scope for fraud. Students are advised to keep all their important documents ready before the examination.
- Munne Ali, Regional Secretary UP Board
Only mobile team members, invigilators or gazetted officers will be able to enter the examination hall. For this, clear instructions will be sent to all the center administrators and principals of the examination centres. The examination will be conducted as per the guidelines of the board.
