Digital Desk, New Delhi. Traffic will be affected in North Campus and surrounding areas on 8 February 2026 in view of the centenary year celebrations of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi.
Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory in this regard and appealed to the common people to avoid the prescribed routes.
According to the traffic police, normal traffic will be affected on Chhatra Marg, University Marg, Sudhir Bose Marg, Guru Teg Bahadur Marg and Mall Road from 3 pm to 10 pm (1500 to 2200 hours) on February 8.
Vehicles will be diverted as per requirement during the function. However, emergency vehicles will be exempted.

Vehicles going from Mall Road to Chhatra Marg: Such vehicles will be diverted from Chhatra Marg-Mall Road T-point towards Khalsa College Red Light. From there you will be able to reach your destination via Guru Teg Bahadur Marg.
Vehicles going from Mall Road towards University Marg: Vehicles from University Marg-Mall Road T-point will be diverted towards Khalsa College Red Light. After this we will be able to move forward on the Guru Teg Bahadur path.
Vehicles coming from GTB Marg and Vijay Nagar Marg towards Chhatra Marg: Such traffic will be diverted from Patel Chest towards Guru Teg Bahadur Marg. From there the destination can be reached via Sudhir Bose Marg and Sant Kripal Singh Marg.
Vehicles traveling from MCD Chowk, Malka Ganj and Bonta Park towards Rugby Ground (North Campus): Vehicles coming from these routes will be diverted towards Kranti Chowk at St. Stephen's Red Light and then forward through Guru Teg Bahadur Marg.

Delhi Traffic Police has advised passengers to avoid the said routes and use alternative routes. Also, avoid parking vehicles on the roadside, as this may affect the normal traffic system.
The police have appealed to the people for cooperation and said that they should follow the instructions of the traffic personnel so that the traffic system remains smooth during the function.
