Traffic Plan Ready In Amroha For Kanwar Yatra, Diversion Of Heavy Vehicles From February 9

Jagran correspondent, Amroha. The police has prepared a traffic plan to maintain the traffic system in the district regarding Kanwar Yatra. Diversion of heavy vehicles will be done on Delhi-Moradabad National Highway in the district from February 9. Whereas from February 12, vehicles will be operated one way on the highway.

Amroha Police prepared plan regarding Kanwar Yatra

From February 9, trucks, dumpers, containers, canters, buses and other commercial vehicles will be sent through other routes. Whereas the highway will be made one-way from the afternoon of 12th February. Only jeeps, cars, pickups, small elephants and other emergency vehicles will run on Moradabad to Delhi lane. This arrangement will remain in force till 6 pm on the day of Mahashivratri.

This will remain route diversion

SP Amit Kumar Anand said that since Shiva devotees from many districts including Bareilly, Sambhal, Moradabad, Rampur pass through Amroha district with Kanwar from Haridwar. In such a situation, in view of the crowd of Kanwariyas, a plan has been made to implement route diversion plan on the highway.
