Jharkhand: The Department Became Rich As Soon As The Sale Of Liquor Went Into Private Hands, Earned Rs 1412 Crore In Three Months

After the start of retail sale of liquor in private hands in Jharkhand from September 1, 2025, the revenue of the excise department has increased rapidly. Revenue of Rs 1412 crore was achieved in three months, which is 105 more than the target. With this the department is expected to achieve the revenue target of Rs 3885.11 crore for the current financial year. Sales have increased due to people getting the liquor of their choice.

Injuries At 17 Places On The Body, Three Fractures In Ribs; Post Mortem Revealed Cruelty Of Step Mother In Ghaziabad

The death of six-year-old Shifa in Dasna, Ghaziabad has been revealed by the post-mortem report. 17 injury marks and rib fractures were found on the body of the innocent child. Stepmother Nisha and father Akram beat him mercilessly when his clothes were dirty and left him on the terrace in the cold, due to which he died. Both the accused have been arrested on Nana's complaint.

Kalyanpur Block Development Officer Devendra Kumar inspected the verification work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In Rampura Mahadalit Basti of Ladaura Panchayat, names of some villagers were not in the list, which were noted. BDO said that whether the benefit has been received in the past or not, it will be investigated. He appealed for cooperation in identifying the eligible persons and to inform the block office of any problem.

A doctor in Chhapra Sadar Hospital, Dr. Harendra Prasad, is illegally demanding money from the family members of the patients by misusing his name. Anti-social elements are cheating on the pretext of getting injury and post-mortem reports made. Dr. Prasad has lodged a complaint at Bhagwan Bazar police station, in which he has said that his image has been damaged. Police are investigating the matter and are trying to identify the culprits.

More Than 12 And A Half Thousand E-rickshaws Are Roaming On The Streets Of Ghaziabad Posing As Yamraj, Lives Of Passengers In Danger.

More than 12,765 e-rickshaws and 4,632 autos are running on the roads of Ghaziabad without fitness, putting the safety of passengers at risk. According to the data of the Transport Department, the fitness period of these vehicles has expired, yet they are carrying passengers indiscriminately. This has increased the risk of accidents and also creates traffic jams. RTO enforcement department claims action, but lacks effective control.
