Jharkhand: The Department Became Rich As Soon As The Sale Of Liquor Went Into Private Hands, Earned Rs 1412 Crore In Three Months

After the start of retail sale of liquor in private hands in Jharkhand from September 1, 2025, the revenue of the excise department has increased rapidly. Revenue of Rs 1412 crore was achieved in three months, which is 105 more than the target. With this the department is expected to achieve the revenue target of Rs 3885.11 crore for the current financial year. Sales have increased due to people getting the liquor of their choice.
