Here, for the last four years, Mahmuda Begum of Narayanganj, Bangladesh, changing her name to Rani, has been living with Mohammad Mashroof in village Dautai of the district. Both of them got married on 11 February 2021 at Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi. After marriage, she is living in the village.
Interestingly, even on the letterpad of the village head, her name is shown as Rani. By circumventing the SIR process, the woman's Voter ID card was also issued. Now after the matter came to notice, the couple has absconded with their three children. Due to which there is chaos in the police administration and intelligence agencies.
According to the information, Mohammad Mashroof, son of Inshallah of village Dautai, had gone to work in a company based in Saudi Arabia in the year 2020. Mahmuda Begum also worked in his company. Both of them met there. After which the conversation increased and the closeness turned into love and then a relationship. On 11 February 2021, both of them got married at Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi.
Both of them had written their names and addresses correctly on the marriage documents. In the year 2022, Mashroof's father Inshallah passed away. After which he got a tourist visa for his wife and brought her to India. At that time Mahmuda was three months pregnant. Even after the visa period ended, Mahmuda did not go back. After this the couple started living in Dautai village. Here Mahmuda changed her name to Rani. During this period, he also had three children, one son and two daughters.

Applied to Mashroof to get Mahmuda voted in the name of Rani. In this, a mention of Mahmuda Begum being a queen was presented on the letterpad of the village head as evidence. Interestingly, by breaching the SIR process, Mahmuda's Voter ID card was also issued. Mohammad Mashruf told this to some acquaintances. After this the matter reached the administration.
Pradhan said… letterpad made fake
The letterpad issued by the village head is now circulating on the internet media. In such a situation, the question is being raised that on what basis such a letter has been issued without evidence or identification. In this regard, the village head says that he has not given any letter. Someone has prepared a letter in his name and circulated it. He will lodge a complaint in the police station in this regard.
Police is conducting multi-level investigation
Police passports, visas, residence permits and other documents are being closely scrutinized. Information is being sought whether he has gone to any other place within the country or has left for a foreign country. It is also being investigated whether the documents were made by hiding the identity or by giving wrong information. Garh police station in-charge Inspector Devendra Singh Bisht said that the real situation will be clear only after the investigation is completed. At present, the police team is busy searching at possible locations and coordination is being established with the concerned departments.
