He held high level meetings with senior representatives of Telefónica O2, Fujikura Limited and Hanso Limited regarding investment in Uttar Pradesh. In these meetings, investors gave assurance of investing in Uttar Pradesh.
On Wednesday, the Deputy Chief Minister interacted with senior representatives of multinational company Fujikura Limited in Germany regarding investment in areas related to advanced sensor technology, autonomous platforms and smart infrastructure.
Representatives of Fujikura assured of the possibilities of setting up prototyping and advanced manufacturing units in the state, manufacturing of smart sensors and electronic systems for the automotive and e-vehicle sectors, participation in smart city and digital infrastructure projects and cooperation on research.
Company representatives expressed interest in investing in the field of prototyping and setting up manufacturing activities in the state.
Earlier, the Deputy Chief Minister held a meeting with representatives of Germany's leading drone manufacturing company Quantum System GmbH and discussed the possibilities of making Uttar Pradesh a high-tech manufacturing and drone hub.
Technology transfer, possible investment models and opportunities for setting up advanced drone manufacturing and research centers in Uttar Pradesh were discussed in the meeting. There was also discussion on development of state-of-the-art systems for defense and civil use, industrial cooperation under the Defense Industrial Corridor and possibilities of partnership in the field of research and skill development.
The meetings held with representatives of Telefónica O2 and Hanso Limited highlighted the potential for cooperation in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, defense sector, technology transfer and investment and partnership in Uttar Pradesh.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that strong law and order, world class expressway network, defense industrial corridor, electronics manufacturing cluster and transparent industrial policies in Uttar Pradesh are providing an ideal environment for investors.
Deputy Chief Minister visited Railvan GmbH factory
Deputy Chief Minister and IT Minister Sunil Sharma, who is on a visit to Germany, visited the state-of-the-art plant of Railvan GmbH in Nuremberg to learn about the advanced technological processes for the production of rail tracks and concrete sleepers.
The state government delegation discussed possible technical cooperation and investment opportunities with Nishant Mittal and other officials of Rail Van. The state government delegation also visited the Nuremberg Fortress.
