The Deputy CMO has admitted the patients admitted in a hospital to the Community Health Centre. Also, notices have been issued to the hospital operators of both.
The Health Department team took this action after a complaint made by Fahmida Sultan, a former member of Uttar Pradesh Urdu Academy, to Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak. Only after the complaint, instructions were given to the Chief Medical Officer from the Deputy CM's office to take action against the quacks.
CMO Dr. Kuldeep Singh had formed a team under the leadership of Deputy CMO Dr. Praveen Srivastava and given instructions to take strict action against those running clinics and hospitals illegally. On Thursday, Deputy CMO and Nodal Officer Dr. Praveen Srivastava first raided Riza Rani Hospital.
The registration of the hospital is only for OPD, but during the raid, OT for Caesarean operation was found. Which was sealed by the Deputy CMO. After this the team raided Amrit Nursing Home. There also he was told that the hospital has OPD registration. But operations were being carried out here without registration.
On the spot, Usha's wife Suraj Singh, resident of village Bhaidi Faridpur, was found. She had undergone cesarean operation on 10th February. Along with this, Mumtaz's wife Kapil Ahmed resident of village Salempur was found. He had a caesarean operation on February 9. Deputy CMO Praveen Srivastava sealed Amrit Nursing Home due to conducting cesarean operation without registration and other irregularities.
Both the patients admitted here have been admitted to the Community Health Centre. Deputy CMO Dr. Praveen Srivastava said that complaints have been received against quacks and those performing illegal Caesarean operations. Action is being taken by running a campaign on the basis of complaints.
