Jagran correspondent, Patna. Students will not be able to appear in the matriculation examination organized by Bihar School Examination Board starting from 17th May wearing shoes and socks.
During the examination held till 25th February, admission will be given even if you come wearing slippers. On Friday, the Board has given instructions to all the districts of the state to expel the candidates from the examination for two years who climb the wall of the center or enter illegally due to arriving late.
This time, Bihar Board has asked 15 lakh 12 thousand 963 candidates appearing in the matriculation annual examination to enter the center one hour before the start of both the shifts.
The entry gate will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination. If any candidate reaches the examination center late and enters the center forcefully, he/she will be treated as a violator of the instructions of the committee and in the category of criminal trespass.
Malpractice is a clear attempt to influence the integrity of the examination and will also be considered a criminal offence. Along with expelling the concerned candidate from the examination for two years, an FIR will also be registered against him.
If the Central Superintendent allows such candidates to appear in the examination, then suspension action will be taken against them also. Candidates will be included.
Entry will be available one hour earlier
Candidates must enter the center one hour before the commencement of the examination. The main gate of the center will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination. The committee has said that the candidates of the first shift will have to start the examination 30 minutes before 9:30 am i.e. 9 o'clock.
Candidates of the second shift will be allowed to enter the examination hall only 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination i.e. till 1:30 pm. Candidates coming late will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
The committee has said that for the commencement of the examination, admission at the center will start from 8:30 am, one hour before the scheduled time of 9:30 am in the first shift. In the second shift, entry at the center will start from 1 o'clock, one hour before the scheduled time of 2 o'clock.
