Registration starts for Bihar Gyandeep Portal 2026
Samvad Sutra, Ekangarsarai (Nalanda). The registration process for the year 2026 has been started for the Bihar Gyandeep Portal run by the state government. The objective of this initiative is to connect the children of the state with various educational and social welfare schemes, so that they can get proper benefits of education, protection and government facilities. Interested candidates can register through online from 2 January 2026 to 31 January 2026.
Bihar Gyandeep Portal has been specially designed keeping in mind the holistic development of children. Through this, the government prepares integrated data of children, so that education, scholarship, nutrition, protection and other welfare schemes can be delivered to the needy.
According to officials, after joining this portal, children find it easier to avail benefits of various government schemes and also get relief from the trouble of submitting documents again and again.
Birth certificate is mandatory for registration. As an alternative, records related to hospital, nurse or Anganwadi have also been validated.
Apart from this, Aadhar card of parents or guardian, age declaration form, mobile number, residence certificate, caste certificate and income certificate will have to be uploaded during the application.
However, giving relief to orphan children, the government has removed the requirement of caste and income certificate.
In case residence certificate is not available, Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Rent Agreement or Electricity Bill will also be accepted as alternative documents.
The relevant certificate has been made mandatory for transgender children, whereas for orphan children, undertaking certificate issued by the guardian or the head of the concerned institution will be necessary.
It is also mandatory to upload an updated color passport size photograph of the child during the application process.
Officials have clarified that all the documents should be clear and correct, so that there is no problem during verification. The application may also be rejected if incorrect or incomplete information is given.
The administration has appealed to the parents and interested applicants to register on time without waiting for the last date.
Many times, due to high pressure on the server in the last days, technical problems arise, which can cause difficulty in the application.
Bihar Gyandeep Portal 2026 is an important initiative of the state government, which aims to connect children with the mainstream of education and social security.
By registering on time, parents can take an important step towards the bright future of their children.
