State Bureau, Patna. Teachers working in government schools of the state will not have to run from district offices to the headquarters for matters like pending promotions and salary discrepancy, execution and salary hike. From this month onwards, all the problems of teachers will be solved by organizing camps in every district. In this regard, an order was issued by the Education Department to all the district education officers on Tuesday.
Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department, Dr. B. Rajender found in the review meeting that 98 percent teachers of government schools have been paid their December salaries. On this he directed the remaining teachers to ensure payment of salaries within a week.
Besides, he took the matters of non-adjustment of AC-DC bill and not handing over the utilization certificate of the given amount very seriously.
He instructed the district education officers to adjust the amount on priority basis within a week. Instructed to take action against the District Education Officers of the districts whose progress in this work is not satisfactory and which are lagging behind in adjusting the bill.
Show cause notice will also be issued to such district education officials. In the meeting, the updated status of appointment to the posts of school clerk and school attendant on compassionate grounds was also reviewed.
Education Department Secretary Dinesh Kumar, Primary Education Director Vikram Virkar, Secondary Education Director Sajjan R were present in the meeting. And Deputy Director of Secondary Education Abdus Salam and other concerned officers were included.
