MLA Rajesh Kachhap raised the issue of HEC oustees in the House. He said that the government had given land to the displaced people of HEC in areas like Satranji, Latma, Bhusur, Kutte etc. and had also given compensation amount. Today the mafia is selling their land. A few days ago, the mafia had registered the land of the tenant in Latma also.
Re-registration of that land is going on. When they go to stop them, they are threatened and told that the land is not theirs. Due to this there is fear among the native ryots. A massacre can happen there any time. Rajesh Kachhap requested Aasan to form a committee of the Assembly to investigate this, so that the problem of the displaced people can be solved. On this, Minister Deepak Birua said that such incidents are coming to the fore in the case of land. Further action will be taken after investigation.
An issue of Bundu-Tamad related to land was also raised in the House. MLA Vikas Kumar Munda raised the question through attention in the House that Khatian has been changed from Munda to Swansi. On this, Minister Deepak Birua said that it will be rectified within 45 days.
Fly over from Sakchi to Agrico possible only after Tata Steel's no objection
Minister Sudivya Kumar told in the House that to solve the problem of blockage of the main road from Sakchi to Agrico, traffic disruption etc., a flyover can be built only if Tata Steel gives no objection, because the entire area is under Tata Steel. This issue of traffic disruption was raised in the House by Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu. Minister Sudivya Kumar told MLA Purnima Sahu that if she gets no objection from Tata Steel, then the department will be able to work further on it.
Government will seek report from DC on availability of land for airport in Dhanbad
Minister Deepak Birua said that a report will be sought from the DC there on the availability of land for the airport in Dhanbad. Only after receiving the land related report will the point be considered whether an airport will be built in Dhanbad or not. The issue of need for an airport in Dhanbad was raised in the House by CPI(ML) MLA Arup Chatterjee, which was also supported by MLA Mathura Mahato.
Minister Deepak Birua informed the House about the non-availability of land for the airport in Dhanbad and said that this is the reason why construction of an airport in Bokaro is being considered. The minister said that there is an airport at Barwada in Dhanbad, which is situated on 33 acres of land. For a better airport, at least 113 acres of land should be available, which is not available in Dhanbad.
On this, both MLAs Arup Chatterjee and Mathura Mahato said that there is plenty of land in Dhanbad. There are many big companies and factories in Dhanbad, hence an airport is necessary there. On this, the minister said that he will get a report from the DC there on the availability of land and then take a decision on it.
