State Bureau, Jagran, Patna. BJP national president Nitin Naveen said on Monday that his party puts the nation first, the organization second and itself last, whereas for the opposition, self-interest comes first and last.
Naveen was addressing the felicitation ceremony organized at Bapu Auditorium in Patna for the first time after assuming the responsibility of National President. Addressing the Mandal, District and State officials from Shakti Kendra, he said that BJP workers played a role in uprooting Jungle Raj at a time when even distributing pamphlets was risky.
The same spirit of sacrifice continues even today. I got the opportunity to visit states like Kerala and West Bengal, where party workers are struggling without any selfishness. BJP is a party which puts the nation first, the party second and itself last. For our opponents, self-interest comes first and last.
Naveen, who became the national president of the party at the age of 45, assured the workers and said, we have a strong watch tower. A booth level worker can rest assured that his work will be monitored and he can also become state and national president. I am an example of this in front of you.
He told the youth workers not to be disappointed if things do not go as per their wish. Can hope for better days. The party has seen horizontal expansion so far. There will be vertical development of workers in the coming days.
It may be noted that Nitin Naveen, MLA from Patna district Bankipur, was a minister in the Bihar government until he was made the acting president in December. Emphasizing the important role of the party in Bihar, he said, if you all perform well then I will get the credit and if you fail then the blame will fall on me. This state will play an important role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of a developed India by 2047.
He said, you all must have heard Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in Parliament recently. It revealed that unlike a Congress Prime Minister who considered 57 crore Indians as a challenge, Modi sees 140 crore countrymen as assets. Can establish leadership even at Panchayat level. Only through this will the Prime Minister's dream of bringing lakhs of youth into politics come true. After this, Loknayak went to JP's residence Charkha Committee and paid obeisance.
welcomed by bike rally
On reaching Patna, the National President was given a grand welcome by BJYM by taking out a bike rally from Patna Airport to Bapu Auditorium at Gandhi Maidan. Party officials, leaders and workers greeted in regional and traditional manner at the archways built at various places on the route.
The enthusiasm of the youth in the bike rally was palpable. With flags and slogans in their hands, the youth expressed their support and respect towards Nitin Naveen. Through the rally, a festive atmosphere was created in the entire city. BJYM State President Bhartendu and Jai Prakash led the rally.
