Digital Desk, New Delhi. Baloch Liberation Army has claimed to have detained 17 members of Pakistani security forces in the second phase of Operation Herof. BLA spokesperson Ziand Baloch said that 10 of these security personnel have been released, while seven have been kept in custody.

The future of these security personnel depends on the possible exchange of prisoners. A time limit of seven days has been set for this. According to BLA, the military personnel who have been released were members of the Baloch ethnic group. He was related to the local police system.

He was released after giving a warning. The BLA argues that this step reflects the ground reality and the broader interests of the Baloch community. The BLA has described the remaining detainees as regular members of the Pakistan Army. He produced these prisoners in the Baloch National Court.

There he was accused of taking part in actions against civilians, aiding the enforced disappearance of people and even participating in genocide. During the hearing the prisoners were allowed to respond.

Evidence was presented against them and their statements were recorded before they were convicted. The BLA said no action was taken on swap proposals in the past. If no concrete progress is made within a week, these security personnel will be punished.
