Jagran correspondent, West Delhi. Panic spread in Dwarka on Thursday morning when two schools received bomb threats. This threat was received at a time when CBSE Class 12 board exams were going on. On receiving the information, Delhi Police, Fire Brigade and Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot and immediately the search operation was started.
According to a police officer, the first call to the police control room came at 8:11 am from St. Thomas School, Goyla. While the police were still responding to the call, at 8:37 am, they received a report of bombs in CRPF Public School in Dwarka Sector 16 and DAV Centenary Public School in West Enclave.
Within no time, a crowd of parents gathered outside the three schools and security agencies also took charge as CBSE Class 12 minor subject exams were to be held on Thursday. Meanwhile, the police team started the investigation following all security protocols to ensure that no harm is caused to the children present in the school.

The rooms at the examination center were evacuated, students and staff were immediately evacuated, and bomb squad and dog squad teams checked classrooms, labs and playgrounds. It is a matter of relief that till now no suspicious thing has been recovered in the investigation. After the hoax call was declared, normal functioning of the school resumed.
A police officer said that the police and the school administration are very worried about this threat disrupting the exam process. According to the school management, a detailed report is being sent to CBSE regarding the entire incident and disruption in the exam. Based on this report, the Board will decide what special arrangements can be made for the affected candidates. The first objective of the police was to ensure that the safety of children was not compromised under any circumstances.
The police officer said that after investigation, the hoax call has been declared a hoax (rumor). The police cyber cell is now tracking the IP address from which these messages were sent.
