Cash And Jewelery Stolen From Two Closed Houses In Lucknow, Thieves Continuously Exposing Police Patrolling

Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. Thieves are constantly exposing police patrols in the capital. Thieves broke the locks of two houses and a Patanjali store and stole goods worth lakhs including cash and jewellery. These incidents of theft took place in Cantt, Para and metropolitan areas. The police is searching for the accused with the help of the footage of CC cameras registered in the case. Sharad Pandey, a resident of Durgapuri Colony, Nilmatha, said that on December 14, he had gone to his ancestral home in Rae Bareli with the family after receiving information about his father's demise. When they returned on the morning of 22 December, the main gate was locked, while the lock of the inner wooden gate was found to be hinged. When they went inside, the locks of all the rooms were broken and all the stuff was found scattered.

The victim told that the thieves made away with Rs 30 thousand and jewelery worth lakhs. When the police searched the footage of nearby CC cameras, the thieves were seen coming at around 1.30 am on December 21. At the same time, Usha Devi, a resident of Avadh Vihar Colony, Kulhadkatta, Para, told that late on the night of 26th December, thieves broke the lock of her house and stole jewelery worth Rs 50 thousand and seven lakhs.

On December 28, when she reached home with her family on the information of neighbor Shravan Kumar, she found everything in disarray. On the other hand, Chowk resident Malay Aggarwal has a Patanjali store in Badshah Nagar. On the night of 30th December, he closed the shop and went home. Thieves broke the lock of the shop late in the night and stole goods worth lakhs including cash, food items and accessories kept in the basket. The next morning when they reached the shop they found the lock broken. The police is investigating the matter
