The candidates contesting the elections have submitted the accounts of their election expenses to the administration twice so far. According to the details presented, Chameli Devi in Jamtara Nagar Panchayat area and Sudha Devi in Mihijam Municipal Council area have emerged as the highest spending candidates in their respective areas.
Chameli Devi, contesting from Jamtara Nagar Panchayat, has spent a total of Rs 1,28,576 so far. In terms of expenditure, he is ahead of all the candidates. After her comes the name of Asha Gupta, who has spent Rs 1,08,874. Whereas Lovely Dubey has so far spent Rs 92669 and secured the third position.
In the same area, BJP supported candidate Reena Kumari has spent Rs 76,888. Although he is not included in the top three. Whereas Arjana Kumari from Jamtara has spent the least Rs 15,698. This amount has been spent on banners-posters, public relations campaign, vehicle hire, publicity material and arrangement of workers for the election campaign.

This amount is the highest in Mihijam compared to other candidates. In second place is Neena Gupta, who has spent Rs 16 thousand so far. Baby Devi is in third place. He has spent Rs 15,026 so far. At the fourth place is the name of Sona Kumari, whose expenditure has been recorded at Rs 11,645.
BJP-backed candidate Jayshree Devi has spent Rs 7,358 so far. The expenditure figures in Mihijam are relatively lower than Jamtara, which indicates that the election campaign here is being run with relatively limited resources.
On behalf of the administration, it has been made mandatory for all the candidates to submit details of their expenses from time to time as per the guidelines of the Election Commission. Instructions have been given to carry out publicity within the prescribed limits.
