Changed route of many trains including Darbhanga-New Delhi Express, passengers will be affected
Jagran correspondent, Samastipur. Non-interlocking work is being done by the Railways for the commissioning work of automatic signaling on the Gorakhpur-Gonda railway section. This work will be done in about 12 kilometer railway section between Babhnan, Parsa Tiwari and Swami Narayan Chapia. For this reason, block has been taken on 23rd and 24th January, which will affect the operation of many trains.
During this period, some trains will be run on diverted routes, some trains have been controlled or rescheduled, while some trains will not be given temporary stoppage at Babhnan and Swami Narayan Chhapia stations.
Trains running on the diverted route:
According to the information given by the Railways, on January 23, the route fixed for train number 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi special running from Darbhanga, train number 02563 Barauni-New Delhi special running from Barauni, train number 12565 Darbhanga-New Delhi Express running from Darbhanga and train number 12557 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Express running from Muzaffarpur. Instead of Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda, the changed route will be run via Gorakhpur-Badhani-Gonda.
Similarly, train number 22551 Darbhanga-Jalandhar City Express running from Darbhanga on January 24 will also run on the same changed route. At the same time, the routes of many trains coming from Delhi and other stations towards Bihar have also been changed.
On January 23, train number 02570 New Delhi-Darbhanga special running from New Delhi, train number 12558 Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Express running from Anand Vihar Terminal, train number 12408 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Express running from New Delhi, train number 02564 New Delhi-Barauni Special running from Anand Vihar Terminal, train number 15280 Anand Vihar running from Anand Vihar Terminal. Terminal-Saharsa Express, train number 14674 Amritsar-Jaynagar Express running from Amritsar and train number 13020 Kathgodam-Howrah Express running from Kathgodam will be run on the Gonda-Badhani-Gorakhpur route instead of Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur.
Some trains have also been controlled or rescheduled due to non-interlocking work. Train No. 15622 Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Express running from Anand Vihar Terminal on January 23 will be run in a controlled manner for 90-90 minutes in Northern Railway and Lucknow Division.
Train No. 14692 Jammu Tawi-Barauni Express running from Jammu Tawi will be regulated for 65-65 minutes, while Train No. 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express running from Amritsar will be regulated for 60-60 minutes.
Apart from this, train number 15707 Katihar-Amritsar Express running from Katihar and train number 19623 Madar Junction-Darbhanga Express running from Madar Junction will be rescheduled by 90 minutes from their originating stations.
These trains will not stop at Babhnan station:
Railways has also clarified that there will be no temporary stoppage of many trains at Babhnan station on 23rd and 24th January. These include Gwalior-Barauni Express (train number 11123), Barauni-Gwalior Express (train number 11124), Barauni-Lucknow Junction Express (train number 15203), Anand Vihar-Raxaul Express (train number 15274), Bandra Terminus-Barauni Express (train number 19037), Amritsar-Jayanagar Express (train number 15274). 14674), Kathgodam-Howrah Express (Train No. 13020), Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminal Express (Train No. 15273), Lucknow Junction-Barauni Express (Train No. 15204), Barauni-Bandra Terminus Express (Train No. 19038), Howrah-Kathgodam Express (Train No. 13019), Jammutavi-Guwahati Express. (Train No. 15654) and Jaynagar-Amritsar Express (Train No. 14673). Similarly, there will be no temporary stoppage of Bandra Terminus-Barauni Express (train number 19037) and Barauni-Bandra Terminus Express (train number 19038) at Swami Narayan Chhapia station on 23rd and 24th January.
The railway administration has appealed to the passengers to get information about the status of the concerned train before travelling, so that inconvenience can be avoided.
