This initiative is in line with the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2022 for the Foundational Stage, which emphasizes mother tongue-based, multilingual and culturally sensitive education. These textbooks of China language have been printed and distributed to schools as per requirement, so that their timely use in classroom teaching can be ensured.

The introduction of Chinese language textbooks is being considered an important achievement for the board. Through this, Chinese speaking children will get primary education in their mother tongue, which will strengthen their basic literacy, cognitive development and cultural connection.

Play-based, activity-centric and child-centric teaching methodology has been adopted in these textbooks prepared as per the guidelines of NCF- 2022. The Board has been striving for the preservation of cultural diversity for future generations through the introduction, modification and standardization of courses in regional languages. The publication of Chhina language textbooks is another important step towards linguistic assimilation and strengthening cultural identity.

It is not just an educational initiative, but an effort to empower local communities, recognize linguistic identity and implement national policies on multilingual education at the classroom level, especially for the Chhina-speaking communities of Jammu and Kashmir. On this occasion, the Board appreciated the efforts of the Textbook Development Committee, headed by Masood-e-Samoon of Kashmir University and Prof. By Mushavir Ahmed.
