The relative accused the hospital management and staff of being negligent and demanding Rs 14,000 in return for giving medicines. They also created a ruckus in the hospital premises by protesting. Complained to Sector 20 police station and demanded action.
Pradeep Rawat lived with his wife and two children in Sorkha village of Noida Sector 115. He runs a food vendor in Sector 76. Kavish Rawat, his younger son, about three years old, had a hole and a valve buried in his heart. He took the child to the hospital on 27 January. Was admitted. After examination, the doctors had given the date of operation of the child on February 2, but the operation was done on February 5, but the child was introduced on Friday afternoon. He was in an unconscious state.
Doctors had said the child had a 30 percent chance of survival. The relative alleges that the staff accompanying the doctor in the hospital and the personnel posted at the counter had demanded Rs 14,000 in the name of giving the medicine. When he asked to give money online, he refused to accept it. He demanded money in cash only.
Doctors informed about the death of the child at around 6 pm on Saturday evening. Hearing this the relatives got angry. He expressed his displeasure. On the other hand, the director of the institute, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh said that all the allegations against the staff in the matter will be investigated. Further action will be taken on this basis.
The relative says that the accused who asked for money in exchange for the medicine has claimed to have the mobile number, name etc. of the staff. A demand has been made to higher officials to conduct an investigation on the basis of CCTV of the hospital premises.
