Jagran correspondent, Moradabad. As the Christmas festival approaches, the atmosphere of joy and devotion has intensified in the churches of the city. Special services were organized on the Sunday before Christmas, while dramatizations of programs based on the life and messages of Lord Jesus Christ were also presented. There were prayers, carol songs and religious presentations in churches in the morning and evening.
Senior pastor Brajesh Menchal conducted special worship at Philip Church located in Pilikothi. He called for adopting the message of love, service and humanity of Lord Jesus Christ in life. In the evening, a group of youth sang carols, filling the church premises with devotion and joy. The youth took the responsibility of decorating the church and finalized the Christmas preparations.
Devotees participated in the worship
A large number of devotees attended the morning service at the Jordan Bias Church of Parker Inter College. Junior Pastor Rohit Massey conducted the worship. Gave the message connecting the life of Lord Jesus Christ with spirituality and social concerns. Said that the life of Lord Jesus teaches sacrifice, love and compassion, which needs to be imbibed in the society.
A special cantata program was organized in the evening at Philip Methodist Church. During this time, on the occasion of Christmas festival, the youth presented a theatrical adaptation of incidents related to the life of Lord Jesus Christ.
Along with the staging, the presentation of carol songs left the attendees emotional. The entire program was conducted by Pastor Brajesh Menchal. Apart from this, prayer meetings were also organized at Old Methodist Church, Anthony Church, The Salvation Church, St. Paul Church and Dong Church. Pastor Dravin Massey offered prayers at the Old Methodist Church and Daniel Massey offered prayers at the Dong Church. Decoration preparations are in full swing in all the churches. Churches decorated with lights, flowers and Christmas trees are spreading the message of Christmas happiness in the city.
