Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said these things while inaugurating the three-day 47th All India Public Relations Conference organized on the theme "Developed India: 2047, Development too, Heritage too" on Saturday.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the conference organized at Hotel Emerald Grand on Sahastradhara Road, Chief Minister Dhami welcomed the public relations experts, delegates and young talents from across the country and said that this year's theme "PR Vision for 2047" is extremely relevant towards realizing the resolve of a developed India.

He said that now public relations is not just a medium of information communication, but an important and effective part of the process of nation building. In the current digital age, there is an abundance of information, while on the other hand there is also the challenge of misinformation. In such a situation, it is a big responsibility of public relations to establish correct, timely and reliable communication between the government and the public. The Chief Minister said that in a natural disaster and strategically sensitive state like Uttarakhand, communication is not just a formality but the foundation of trust. He said that the future PR system in areas like disaster management, good governance, religious and tourism management will have to be made fast, technically capable and sensitive to public sentiments, so that a relationship of partnership and trust can be established between the government and the public.

Expert sessions on various topics The 47th All India Public Relations Conference, which will run till 15 December, is being organized by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI). In this event, there will be sessions on topics like 25 years of development journey of Uttarakhand, role of media and public relations, technology, GST, AI, cyber crime, misinformation and international public relations. The participation of representatives from Russia will give the conference an international character. National Honor to Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari On the occasion of the inauguration of the conference, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari was awarded the National Honor for Excellence in Good Governance by PRSI. Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Parmarth Niketan President Swami Chidanand Saraswati, PRSI National President Ajit Pathak, Dehradun Chapter President Ravi Bijarnia, Russian representative Michael Maslov, Davydenko Yulia, Anna Talanina were present in the program.
