जागरण संवाददाता, सुलह (कांगड़ा)। Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has said that the government will give Rs 1500 to women with income less than Rs 2 lakh in Sulah assembly constituency from April 1, 2026. He said that Sulah assembly constituency of Kangra district will be the first constituency where the government will give Rs 1500 to women from April 1 as per its promise. The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering after inaugurating crores of rupees in Sulah Assembly constituency on Thursday. The Chief Minister said that within a year, AIIMS-like technology will be available in all zonal hospitals including Tanda, IGMC across the state.
Agniveer will not give job for 58 years
The Chief Minister said that like BJP's Agniveer Yojana, the state government will not provide 4 years of employment but 58 years of employment to the youth through police recruitment. For which the government will soon recruit 800 policemen in the state, along with 58 years of service, pension facility will also be provided.
Airport expansion will bring development
The Chief Minister said that the public property of the state will not be allowed to be looted. He said that Kangra district is being developed from tourism point of view. The expansion work of the airport has started at a cost of Rs 3.50 thousand crore. He said that after the construction of the airport, the economic prosperity of the people will increase and tourism will get a boost. At the same time, employment opportunities will also be provided to the youth.
Attack on former Jairam government
The Chief Minister said that the previous Jairam government had benefited industrialists by not charging them registration fees. He said that BJP is making allegations of breaking Section 118, but there is nothing like that. He said that the Congress government has closed all the backdoors of the BJP era and this is the enforcement of the system of the Congress government. He said that the BJP is a party divided into five factions and it has already tried unsuccessfully to buy democracy on the basis of money power.
Announcement of making Sulah a Nagar Panchayat
Apart from inaugurating crores of rupees and laying the foundation stone in Sulh assembly constituency, the Chief Minister also announced to fulfill other demands raised by Sanjay Chauhan, Chairman of Rural Development Bank, including opening the subdivision office of the Electricity Department here, making Sulh a Nagar Panchayat. During the public meeting, the Chief Minister also administered an oath to the people and school students present on the fight against drugs.
